Fauquier Health Wound Healing Center has received the distinguished Company Center of the Year award from Healogics®. Over 600 Wound Care Centers® had the opportunity to qualify for the award, and the top performing center was chosen. Fauquier Health’s Would Healing Center exemplifies quality patient care and clinical outcomes. To be rewarded Center of the Year, stringent quality measures must be met, such as being a President’s Circle Center with the highest Wound Adjusted Comprehensive Healing Rate throughout the entire organization. Additionally, Fauquier Health’s Wound Healing Center, was named top performer of the National Accounts Division, awarded to the top performer of one of the four divisions within Healogics.

Fauquier Health’s Wound Healing Center is a member of the Healogics network of over 600 Wound Care Centers®  and offers highly specialized wound care to patients suffering from diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections and other chronic wounds which have not healed in a reasonable amount of time.

Advanced wound care modalities provided by our wound care experts include negative pressure wound therapy, total contact casting, bio-engineered tissues, biosynthetic dressings and growth factor therapies. The Center also offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which works by surrounding the patient with 100 percent oxygen to help progress the healing of the wound.
