Direct Access Colonoscopy Screening Program
The Direct Access program helps patients get cancer screenings and receive more timely preventive care. After a brief consultation over the phone, patients receive a call from the scheduler to set a date for the procedure. This allows patients without GI symptoms or major medical issues to schedule a colonoscopy directly without an office visit.
The American Cancer Society recommends regular screening for colorectal cancer for average-risk adults aged 45 years and older.
