Laboratory & Pathology

Fauquier Hospital operates a full-service laboratory in conjunction with Pathfinder Diagnostics, Lab Corporation of America, Mayo Medical Laboratories, and the American Red Cross. The laboratory provides consultation services in most areas of anatomic and clinical pathology and comprehensive laboratory services to physician offices.

The pathologists and medical director are board certified in clinical and anatomic pathology. The medical technologists performing the testing are all certified by national credentialing agencies. The hospital laboratory is accredited by The Joint Commission and the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
