Having a medical emergency?
If you or a loved one is experiencing a medical emergency, please dial 911 immediately. The Fauquier Health Emergency Department (ED) cares for patients who need emergency care and immediate medical attention. We understand that health issues don't take nights or weekends off — so our care and treatment don't either. To check our estimated ER wait time, see the ER time clock at the top of the website. For COVID-19 questions, please visit our Coronavirus Preparedness page.
Our Emergency Department (ED) team is staffed 24/7 with emergency physicians, nurses and other staff who are trained in providing general emergency care services. The Emergency Department is a 33-bed unit that includes multiple trauma suites, negative-pressure rooms, and a dedicated room for obstetrical patients. The level of care available ranges from advanced life-support measures to the treatment of minor illnesses, injuries and chronic medical conditions. As a patient, you will be cared for by staff trained to respond to any type of medical emergency.
