For scheduled outpatients:
Monday and Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 7:15 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Scheduled stereotactic (minimally invasive) breast biopsies and pre-surgical biopsy needle localizations are available Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

In mammography, x-ray technology is used to create digital images of breast tissue to help identify changes that may indicate cancer. At Fauquier Health all mammograms are now digital. The digital images produce crisp, clear views that assist the radiologists with a more precise reading.
