In mammography, x-ray technology is used to create digital images of breast tissue to help identify changes that may indicate cancer. At Fauquier Health all mammograms are now digital. The digital images produce crisp, clear views that assist the radiologists with a more precise reading. Fauquier Health CEO and President Rodger Baker said, “It is important to us to offer the best tools possible for detecting breast cancer. This technology will save lives.”Serving all of Northern Virginia, Fauquier Health’s mammography technology is just one portion of our state of the art imaging and radiology department.
