Laboratory and Pathology

Fauquier Hospital operates a full-service laboratory in conjunction with Pathfinder Diagnostics, Piedmont Medical Laboratory, Mayo Medical Laboratories, and the American Red Cross. The laboratory provides testing and consultation services in most areas of pathology and comprehensive laboratory services to physician offices.

The Pathologists and Medical Director are board certified in clinical and anatomic pathology. The Medical Technologists performing the testing are all certified by national credentialing agencies. The hospital laboratory is accredited with distinction by the College of American Pathologists.

Blood Draw Hours

Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. in the Outpatient Special Procedures Blood Draw Room. In off hours, patients can go to the Main Lab on the Lower Level. Although we are happy to serve you at any time, you should expect a longer wait when arriving during the off hours.
