Fauquier Health’s Spiritual Care Department provides spiritual care and support for persons of all faiths and denominations. A volunteer chaplain is available for patients and their families to offer comfort, guidance and prayer as requested.
If you prefer, your own minister, priest, rabbi or spiritual support provider is encouraged and welcome to visit you. If you need assistance making arrangements, refer to the contact information below.
Ordained clergy and lay ministers provide 24-hour coverage to meet the spiritual needs of our patients and their families. The Spiritual Care Coordinator oversees the activities of these volunteers in an effort to meet the needs of our hospital.
The hospital Chapel is available to patients, visitors and hospital staff of all denominations for prayer, meditation and spiritual devotion at all times. The Chapel is located on the first floor, not far from the main hospital entrance. Special services or memorials may be requested through the Spiritual Care Coordinator.
Contact the Spiritual Care Coordinator at 540.316.2229 for assistance/questions. After hours, please contact the Nursing Supervisor at 540.316.5566 for on-call chaplain services.
