Fauquier Hospital will offer a show and tell event about diabetes and nutrition at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13 in The Bistro on the Hill restaurant at the hospital.
Beth Potter, MS, RD, will discuss how to read labels and how to make low-carb substitutions for your favorite foods. Potter is a registered dietitian who is passionate about helping those with diabetes manage their illness through smart lifestyle choices.
David Martin, executive chef at The Bistro, will demonstrate how to easily prepare delicious, healthy dishes. Attendees will get a chance to sample Chef Martin’s creations – Cloud Bread and Cauliflower Mash.
