Every new mother will receive a mother care kit with personal hygiene supplies. You will also receive a newborn kit that includes a package of newborn diapers, baby wipes, pacifier, thermometer, infant hat, blanket and t-shirt. You will want to bring baby clothes for the first picture and for going home. While at the hospital, you may dress your baby in the t-shirt we supply or the clothes you bring. What happens after I leave the hospital?
Before you leave, you will be given a comprehensive New Parent Handbook to help you through those early days. There is also a very popular New Moms' Group that meets twice monthly right here in the birthing center. Your obstetrician or pediatrician will be your best source of information if you still have concerns.
