Beejal Taylor DO
Pain management is critical to the comfort and well-being of our patients. As an
anesthesiologist, Dr. Taylor is not only an expert at eff ectively relieving pain, she’s also an
expert at intubating, rehydrating, resuscitating, and monitoring a patient’s health during
surgery and post-op recovery. Board certifi ed in anesthesiology, Dr. Taylor understands
the importance of being there for all of our patients. Whether she’s in the OR, the ICU or
the delivery room, she knows that the needs of our patients always come first.
Education and Training
After earning her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Des Moines University College of
Osteopathic Medicine in 2001, Dr. Taylor completed the St. John West Shore Hospital
Internship Program and the University of Washington Anesthesiology Residency
Certifications and Proficiencies
Dr. Taylor is certified in advanced cardiac life support.
Honors and Awards
Among her many academic honors, Dr. Taylor graduated with Honors from her
undergraduate program of study at Syracuse University. She also is a member of the
American Society of Anesthesiologists.
Prior to joining Fauquier Health as a private practice physician with Fair Oaks Anesthesia
Associates in 2009, Dr. Taylor was an anesthesiologist for hospitals in Maryland and
Northern Virginia. She gained signifi cant cardiac anesthesia experience in her fi rst position
post-residency at Washington Adventist Hospital, where she participated in numerous
Dr. Taylor is married to Dr. Steven Taylor, a Fauquier Health physician with Virginia
Emergency Medicine Associates, and has two children. She is also a self-professed
foodie, and enjoys working out, golfi ng, skiing, reading and spending time with her family.
