Auxiliary/Volunteering Benefits

Fauquier Hospital invites people at all skill levels to volunteer—we will give you the training necessary for your service area. We also want our volunteers to enjoy some tangible benefits in return for their generous gift of time:

• Meal provided at the Bistro for each shift served. (up to $5.00)
• 20% Discount on massage
• Fauquier Health Connections electronic newsletter e-mailed to you.
• Discounts on movie, theme park, etc. tickets as offered through HR and advertised in hospital publications for staff and volunteers
• Discounts on classes advertised to staff and volunteers in hospital publications
• General invites to employee events such as recognition week, ice cream socials, etc.
• Annual Flu shot
• Free TB Screening or Chest X-ray
• Spring Luncheon for Volunteer Week
• Annual Service Pin Awards
• All volunteers receive 10% discount in Gift Shop and Gift Shop volunteers receive 20% discount
• Participation in hospital sponsored “Weight Watcher’s at work” program
• Eligibility for employee “Fit” program at the Life Center to include 50% membership discount and free initial fitness program consultation
