When it comes to family medicine, a great attitude goes a long way. Dr. Evans is known throughout our health system for his sense of humor and the ability to relate well with individuals in every age group. Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Evans understands the importance of treating the whole person. While some patients may need more information or family involvement, others may need more spiritual support or humor. Regardless of the situation, Dr. Evans is an expert at gauging and accommodating his patients’ needs.
Education and Training
After earning his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1990, Dr. Evans completed the Blackstone Family Practice Family Medicine Internship and Residency Program. Prior to medical school, Dr. Evans earned a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology from Brigham Young University.
Employment
Dr. Evans has been in private practice at Fauquier Health with Piedmont Family Practice since 1993. Prior to medical school, he served on a religious Spanish speaking mission in Central California.
Personal Interests
Dr. Evans is married and has four children.
