Medical Camp Level 1

The Level 1 camp allows students to participate in many hands-on activities.  They learn to suture, intubate, type blood, mix medications, start an IV, triage patients, take blood pressures and harvest a cornea from a human eye.  This is a 2-day camp open to teens age 13 and up.  (Must reach age 13 by the date of the camp.) 

The Level 1 dates for 2013 are:

Tuesday, June 18 and Wednesday, June 19

Tuesday, June 25 and Wednesday, June 26

Tuesday, July 9 and Wednesday, July 10

Each session can accommodate a maximum of 24 students.  There is great interest in this program so admission is competitive.  For consideration, students must complete an application form and submit an essay.
